MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness may be helpful for:

  • reducing emotional and mental reactivity
  • developing greater attention and grounding
  • improving the relationship with intense or persistent emotions
  • fostering a more balanced connection with the body and physical sensations
  • supporting periods of stress, fatigue, or overload

Mindfulness can be undertaken as a self-exploratory practice or as a supportive resource during periods of intensity or transition.

In clinical work, mindfulness-oriented practices may be integrated into the individual psychological process when they are helpful in supporting the regulation of emotional and bodily experience, and in developing a more aware relationship with one’s internal states.

Mindfulness is a practice aimed at cultivating presence and awareness of experience as it unfolds moment by moment. It allows individuals to come into the contact with thoughts, emotions, and body sensations with greater clarity, stability, and openness.

At certain times of the year, group mindfulness programs are offered in Milan, based on the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) protocol.
